Bio

Wes Halloran is a freelance designer and A1. He is currently serving as the A1 for the mainstage Amph at Little Island NYC.

His credits for sound mixing or designing include:
Little Island NYC: The Counterfeit Opera, The Gospel at Colonus, Seven Scenes, and Galas.
Off-Broadway: Gene and Gilda (59E59)
Denver Center: A Christmas Carol and Choir Boy
Colorado Shakes: The Two Gentlemen of Verona, King Lear, Much Ado, The Book of Will, The Odyssey, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Pericles, Twelfth Night, King John, The Alchemist, One Man Two Govs, Winter’s Tale, and Romeo and Juliet.

His 5 years with Colorado Shakes saw him as the resident associate and A1, and he remains a sound consultant with the festival. He has also previously worked for the Denver Center as an A1 and Barrington Stage Company as an A2.

For the 2024-2025 school year, he was the Interim Professor of Lighting at the University of Arizona, and he has previously lectured at Colorado State University.

He also works as a lighting designer, moving light programmer, and master electrician for dance, theatre, TV, opera, and installations. Master electrician and programming work include Town Hall Arts Center, Gaia TV, Lamont Opera, Local Theatre Company, CSU, and CenterStage Theatre Company.

He has a cat named Harold.
