To Team Production Management,
Having spent last summer at Aspen Music Festival, and throughout the rest of my career, I have come to truly appreciate companies that have diverse programming covering all of the forms of art that Little Island does. It allows me to interact with all of the art forms that I admire and keeps me on my toes and always thinking ahead. I worked with Kai Harada shortly after he had worked with Little Island this past summer, and his experiences made me want to work for a company like yours.
Having mixed, engineered, and installed various systems for a diverse collection of theatres, from community to COSTs to LORTs, I am highly effective at collaborating with designers and sound teams to quickly implement their designs in a wide range of applications and complexities. I thrive under the around the clock schedule of summerstocks and rep seasons. Additionally, having deep backgrounds in multiple roles in both sound and lighting in theatre, dance, opera, and music, I can draw from less obvious solutions and processes and work across departments to put a show up, especially when things aren’t going perfectly.
I have mixed line-by-line and engineered on consoles from almost every manufacturer, including Digico, Studer, and Yamaha, and I am fluent with Shure Axient, Dante, networking, comms, and other various requirements of the position. Additional proficiencies are listed in my CV.
Samples of my mixes and draftings are available on my website weshalloran.com. I look forward to discussing opportunities with Little Island soon.
Respectfully yours,
Wes Halloran
